Defective Product and Product Liability Cases
A product liability case can occur through the use of any product. Products include anything that’s sold, except real estate and services. Examples of defective products include machines used in the office as well as in the home. Other types of products that can cause personal injury include food products sold in super markets and restaurants as well as OTC and prescription drug products.
Responsible Parties: Sellers and manufacturers of defective products, or products whose instructions or labels fail to warn the user of the likely hazards of improper use may be responsible under product liability law for any injury caused by such products.
